Bar Dalí is a subterranean tapas bar from James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur Spike Gjerde, in collaboration with hotelier Ash.

Channeling the vibrant, communal energy of busy streets in Spain’s big cities – where tapas bars serve as everyday spaces for meeting over a round of vermouth or frothy beers and simple, tasty shareable plates – Bar Dalí is built as an extension of the neighborhood, with bar seats, tables, and cozy booths. 

Starting at Woodberry Kitchen and now across our ecco/project spaces, we approach food differently. Our tapas are made primarily with ingredients purchased directly from local, regenerative farms and Chesapeake watermen, and our menu changes with the seasons.
